Who are the Ogamiya-san?

In the Japanese Shinto tradition, the term Ogamiya-san (おがみやさん) originates from the word ogamu (拝む), which means "to pray," "to revere," or "to express deep respect." Historically, this title was given to individuals who dedicated themselves to spiritual service, purification practices, and interaction with the subtle, unseen world.

An Ogamiya-san is not a rigid theorist. They are practitioners, mediums, and helpers whom people turn to when they need spiritual guidance: to cleanse a space from negativity, find protection, receive insights from higher forces, or restore harmony in life.
